AffairWhere is a computer system that manages function space and banquet events for a cruise line. It was developed using Microsoft Visual Basic and can access either a Microsoft SQLServer or Oracle database.
The system processes both shore side and shipboard. Shore side the system is used by the Group Reservations Agents to book group events and prepare contracts. Shipboard the system allows the crew to manage all shipboard events and to create Banquet Event Orders which are automaticlaly sent to providers for the fulfillment of the event items.
